The Mercedes-Benz tri-star emblem is a common theme within the Philippine culture. As early as 1955, Mercedes-Benz established a presence in the Philippines by selecting the country as the site for one of it’s first vehicle assembly plants outside of Germany. The MB diesel engines were also used to repower several old jeepneys, so jeepneys covered in unique art are often seen with the emblem. It's only right we take it and flip it to highlight our culture and love for quality things.
