Ceferino Garcia (August 26, 1906 – January 1, 1981) was a champion boxer born in Naval, Biliran, Philippines. He was known for his incredible successes in the ring, making him a source of pride for the Filipino community. He is often regarded as the pioneer of the bolo punch, which has since become a popular technique used by many boxers. Additionally, he holds the record for the most wins ever achieved by a Filipino boxer and is the only boxer from the Philippines to become a world champion in the middleweight division. These accomplishments earned him a spot in both the Ring Magazine Hall of Fame (1977) and the World Boxing Hall of Fame (1989), solidifying his place as one of the greatest boxers of his time.
